Bryan has been fascinated by cartoons for as long as he can remember. As a child, he started off drawing his favorite characters and eventually began creating ones of his own. While predominantly self-taught, he went on to enroll in several art classes throughout school, from painting and drawing, to music, acting and ceramics. He was thrilled with any class would allow him to express himself creatively. However, he always found himself doodling in his notebook. Once his peers discovered his affinity for cartoons, they would often request drawings of themselves, their teachers or other characters. Not only did Bryan love creating art, but he also loved sharing his work with others.
Bryan worked as a camp councilor and swim coach throughout high school and college. Despite a busy schedule, he's created dozens of comic strips and began animating in recent years as well. Bryan enjoyed working with kids and found their fun-loving nature to be infectious. Appreciating the little things and not being afraid to be yourself were great qualities he learned from children. No matter what your age is, no one is ever too old for fun.
Bryan remembers the impact cartoons had on him growing up; from making him laugh when he had a rough day, to teaching him important life lessons. In many ways, cartoons helped sculpt his view of the world. He firmly believes that cartoons are powerful and hopes to create ones that have as much of a positive impact on kid’s lives as they did on his.
